Mike is a business advisor to private equity firms, board member to their portfolio companies, and venture capital investor focusing on legal technology. He currently is chairman of the board at KLD, Surepoint, and a director at Jusbrasil.
Previously Mike served on the boards of Epiq, Ipro, and Qdiscovery, all through successful exits. He served as a board advisor to Litera, and has advised on multiple buy-side and sell-side deals in legal technology. Before becoming an independent advisor, Mike was the president of the Thomson Reuters legal division, where he managed over $3B in revenue across information, software, and services with over 10,000 employees worldwide.
Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University and his MBA from Northwestern University. He lives with family in the Chicago area and enjoys travel and metagrobology (and explaining what that is over a cocktail).
